Day 1 = Great Success!

Phew!  My first day of work was pretty fantastic.  But I will say, I am so glad Tony and I practiced going to the office on the train because to try and figure it out that morning would have been crazy stressful!  I did also way overshoot what time I needed to leave, but whatever, better safe than sorry.  Now I know tomorrow I can sleep in.  🙂

So anyway, the office is absolutely beautiful and it’s nice and intimate.  They have a lovely mini-cafe where employees can eat lunch and they also have awesome condiments like balsamic and olive oil.  And you can refill your water bottle with both still and sparkling water.  WHAT!?!  I am officially European.  :

The best part is how nice everyone is.  My desk was all set up when I arrived so there was minimal to do.  I was introduced to everyone right away which made me feel very welcome, and my new desk is by a window too, which I have always wanted.

Here’s to a great day 2!  Merci, Zurich!  (Yeah, they say that here – so I am kind of practicing my French…)
